Functional Strength: Looking for sound functional movement with a challenge? Our clients have been looking for a bit more strength ~ especially with a balance aspect. This practical approach to balance, strength and flexibility is a unique blend with plenty of challenge.  Join us!

Historically… Clients’ Pilates practice has been limited to the class times that best fit their busy schedules… meaning, that often a particular client will attend the same class week in and week out. As a result, that client may only be experiencing a Pole or Mat class, never getting an opportunity to benefit from the use of the Reformer, Chair, or Ladder Barrel. So…way back in 2006, Carol had an epiphany that is reflected in our Revolutionary Class Schedule!

Time, Instructor and Class Level remain the same, class content will rotate each week. Meaning…over a 5-week period, if a client attends the 9:30 am Monday class, he/she will experience each approach: Mat, Reformer, Pole, Chair, Ladder Barrel/Ball. This will allow Clients to further develop at new levels while giving Teachers a new view of the clients’ practice. This approach can only be offered at Pilates and More since we have an extensively equipped Studio with 5 of each piece of equipment!

Keep in mind that our class sizes are very small; our teachers have extensive experience. If you are not certain that a ‘level’ suits you – come in, anyway. The experience level of our instructors permit varied levels, within the same class, to share the benefit.
